I first met Jane at West End Ambulance when I became a volunteer in the mid 80’s. She drove and I helped the crew chief in the back. She carried a second due pager and sometimes if we were short a crew member we would pick her up along 999 in the area of Bausman. Along with emergency calls, she volunteered to do transports, standbys and special events. Every year, following the membership mailing, her and her husband Jacque would spend hours at the board table opening envelopes, sorting checks and alphabetizing membership cards to be filed in the office. She never seemed to tire from helping the community around her. I was truly blessed to have known her.

Jane was a light in this dark world, always giving and caring for others. I met Jane at Manor Church and served at Connet to the Kingdom along side her. She loved to serve and loved her family. I feel peace knowing she is celebrating with Jesus right now.

Dear Family,
My husband started his career as a carpenter in the early 70’s(Joe Ziegler). This is when we met your Dad and Mom. We both have fond memories of both of them. We built our home in the 80’s and your Dad helped Joe lay out the foundation and talked Joe into installations a central vac system! Your Mom gave us a yellow duck soap cover as a house warming gift. We still use it and think fondly of them when we see it! I hope these warm memories help all of you at this sad time.
With sincere sympathy,
Denise and Joe Ziegler

Our family knew Jane from Manor Church, and as our kids’ school bus driver. I will always remember her for her smile and her sweet spirit.
