Peg,
I was so thankful for my one last visit with your mom. My lasting memory will be her giggles as we chatted that day and being gifted two of her hats, one for me and one for Don. Praying for you and your family as you remember the beautiful woman God gave you to be your mom. I have always treasured her friendship as I do yours. You are loved.
Lynn and Don, too

For sure – Mom was always ready to serve and give. Even in her last days she was making sure all the nurses coming to the house received one of her hats she makes.
Will miss her terribly – but she has been praying to see Jesus and it give me peace knowing where she is.
Blessings,

Jill Brown says
Hi, Peggy, Mary and Ron–it’s Jill Brown, daughter of your parents’ long-time friends, Helen and Joe Brown. Sending you my sympathies and warmest memories of our parents’ friendships. We visited your family in New Mexico many years ago, and I remember the exciting road trip, the farthest I had ever been from home at that time. It was so fun to play with you, Mary and Peggy, during our stay. Who knew Lancaster County would become home!
My mother passed away in January of this year, at 104. I hope you will find comfort in the knowledge that old friends are now reunited. And you will one day see your precious mother again.
Sincerely,
Jill Brown
Peg Schannauer says
Hello Jill
Of course I remember your visit to NM. It is a small world and I agree, who knew Lancaster County would be our home!
I am sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Mom and I often talked about Helen and Joe. She thought Helen had already passed. 104 – amazing!
Thankful for the friendship Joe and my Dad had. It led to an amazing family that I am part of.
Hoping you are doing well.
Blessings,
Peg

It was a pleasure getting to know you all. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Your mother was a beautiful woman inside and out.
Peg Schannauer says
Hello Radiance
What a blessing you and the rest of the staff were. We so appreciated the way you cared for Mom. Especially you. You always took the time needed and then some.
She met the Lord the way she wanted it to be. At home and peaceful.
The house is too quiet now – but I am sure I will get accustomed to it.
Blessings to you. God Bless you as you care for others. It certainly is a gift He has given you.
Also, thank you for the beautiful flowers. They are on the front porch and a great reminder of folks that helped us and Mom.

Hello Lloyd and Judy
She had a pretty rough year and was not able to live the life she wanted to. Her prayer for months now had been to see Jesus.
She was an amazing lady and a great Mom. She was with me for 8 years. I will miss her – but it gives me great peace knowing she is in His hands.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 10th.
Safe travels,
Peg
