Robert H. Mann Jr.

Robert H. Mann Jr. “Bob”, age 79 of Lancaster passed away January 25, 2023 at LGH. Bob was employed for many years at RCA and was a Aluminescent Technical Material Handler, after that he was employed in the custodial department at Millersville University.

He served honorably in the US Navy from 1960-1964. His many interest included fishing (walleye and muskies), lapidarius, and creating jewelry from the rocks and minerals, he loved cats and had many over the years, many which were rescued, he enjoyed steamed crabs, local restaurants especially Kegels, and the Rendezvous at Watt & Shand.

Bob was the son of Robert H. Sr. and Marian Shaub Mann, and is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elaine Shultz Mann, his children Michele wife of Mark Graeff of Lancaster, and Robert H. Mann III of Topeka KS, a step daughter Sherrie Furlow of Mountville, grandchildren; Jennifer Nickle, Dennis Eberly, Krista Eshleman, Joseph Fulmer, great grandchildren Justice Eshleman, Variety Eberly, and Charlotte Nickle, his siblings Michael Mann, Calif, Diane Danielson, VA, and Mary Graybill, Manheim. He leaves behind his fur babies, Blacky, Buck, Baby and Lisa, and he enjoyed creating beautiful fishing rods.

Private interment was held at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.

A life celebration will be announced at a later date. Kindly check back to this obituary.

Memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to either Pet Pantry or the SPCA in keeping with his love of animals.
