Barry R. Henry

Barry R. Henry, 82, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

Born on August 15, 1941 in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Ralph W. and Dorothy M. (Sherick) Henry. After graduating from high school, Barry spent much of his career as a software designer. 

In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to jazz music, playing the trumpet and traveling which included one of his favorite destinations, Arizona.

He is survived by his children, Lori Koch (wife of Mark), Stephen Henry and Lisa Nelson (wife of Jon).  Also surviving is a sister, Sally Kramer, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two nephews and a niece.  Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Water Street Rescue Mission,  210 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the charity of one's choice.
