William Ray “Bill” Pierce, Jr., 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Jeannette, PA on December 13, 1926, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Grossman Pierce. He is survived by his daughter Sheri Pierce, son Scott and Joy Pierce, granddaughter Bethany and Eric Davis and great-grandson Scottie Davis.

A memorial service will be held at the Brethren Village Chapel, Lititz Pike, on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Friends will be received 30 minutes prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in the name of William R. Pierce to The Good Samaritan Fund, Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.

    I remember Bill as a wonderful Scout Leader in Troop 4. Bill was always focused but everyone felt comfortable working with him. Regards to Scott and family. My experiences in Troop have kept me involved in Scouting to this day…
