Bill was a good friend of mine doing our high school years. A lot people remember his athletic prowess. He certainly earned numerous athletic awards in his early years. A lot of people admired his abilities. But few people saw the hard work he put in to be a successful athlete. Few saw his quiet leadership, warmth and kindness to those that looked up to him. He tried to be worthy of the adulation of others. He always had time for those that did not have his skills and talents. Rest in peace.
