Steve C. Shultz

Steve C. Shultz, 59, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home.  He was the husband of Elizabeth J. Shultz.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Thomas and the late Florence (Hoenninger) Shultz.

After graduating from Lancaster Catholic High School, Steve spent much of his career as a pest control technician which began with his employment in the quality control department at Nissin Foods and continued into his employment with Kirchner Brothers Pest Control.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, church activities at Colemanville United Methodist Church including playing drums and guitar in the worship team, missions’ trips and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed reading and listening to talk radio.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rebekah Shultz; a brother, Thomas Shultz (husband of Karen), his father, Thomas Shultz, Sr.; a nephew, Derrick Shultz (husband of Kate) and a great-nephew, Lincoln Shultz.  In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a brother, Jim Shultz

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E.     Tom, Karen, Derrick and Kate – I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Steve. Know that he is in a better place with the Lord. Take care of yourselves as you move forward in the days and weeks ahead. Your friends and family at Suburban Propane are thinking and praying for you and Steve’s family today!

    I just heard of Steve’s passing, I was so shocked. Saw him walking his dog not long ago. He seemed happy. Prayers to you Elizabeth and your Family. I will miss Steve. He was a Great Neighbor.
