Sharon and I were friends in high school when we were both in the colour guard band. I later met up with her at The Heart Group one day when she took my blood in the lab. Then I introduced her to Ann at RGAL and she and I became employed employed together there. Most importantly, we were “Butt Sisters”. We also had a beach house in Aspen Meadows which she introduced me to when we rented her place in Rehoboth. She was a long time friend with a positive and friendly outlook to everyone she came into contact with. She will be greatly missed. Love ya, Sharon. RIP.

Condolence from Margaret Davidson on January 5th, 2015 2:33 pm

It was my pleasure to have worked with Sharon many years ago, and to have kept up contact through our mutual membership in the “Butt Sisters.” Sharon was truly an inspiration in that she never let her diagnosis slow her down. I was so impressed with her ability to keep living her life to the fullest, and envious of her many travels. But I feel sure she got her greatest happiness from her family, and I know you will all miss you mom and grandma. God bless you and keep you.

We will miss our fun neighbor who always thought of others and loved and helped our boys. She has been such a wonderful, positive part of our small community here, so easy to talk to, caring and happy. Although we will truly miss her, we are glad that her suffering has ended and she is at peace with her loved ones. We will never forget you, Sharon–you have touched our lives for good!! Amy, Kyle, and Mitch, she always talked about you with so much love and respect. May you find peace and comfort. We will be thinking and praying for you and your families!

Your Mother Sharon, was an amazing person who cared deeply about taking
care of others first. I remember when
I was selling her one of many cars. She
said I’am going to quite my job there
is something bigger for me to do. And
so it was. God Bless all of you!

Condolence from Jim Keener on January 12th, 2015 8:38 am

To all of Sharon’s children and grandchildren who she lived for and continually bragged about ,
There are no words that will ease your pain and loss at this time .I was away in Pittsburgh for a few weeks and unaware of her passing .
I can only say that she was one of the finest ,most honest ,most decent and caring persons I have ever known . She was brave beyond words and a total joy to be around . I never heard her complain once.I was humbled by who she was . I always called her “Angel ” because she truly was one in my eyes.I have nothing but the utmost respect for Sharon and how she lived her life.
The world will forever be dimmer without her in it .I can only imagine her in heaven planning a trip to her beloved beach with her fellow angels.
I always cautioned her to drive slower than her guardian angels could fly .I doubt she did .
We will all miss her terribly and can only hope to catch up with her again in the great beyond .
Jim Keener
