My heart goes out to you all right now. She was such a wonderful woman. Francie, I hope you can feel my hugs…..I loved your Mom…….even though she was a Redskin fan. I’ll never forget her and Joyce coming in my Moms all decked out playing the Redskins fight song the day our teams were playing. We had a lot of fun poking each other. I hope you all know how proud she was of all of you. She will be missed…….thoughts and prayers to you all at this difficult time.

To Sally Swift Sites family and friends.
Upon reading the obituary I celebrate God’s gift in Jesus Christ for His continuing love and promise of life after death. Sally and i were classmates at MTHS graduating in 1954.That gave us many opportunities to celebrate many activities and projects. One of the amazing projects of fun and laughter was a pantemine of Sid Cesar and Imogene Coco. What a fine actress. My wife and I served at Ft.Meade. I was a chaplain. We recall many pleasant social occasions with Bill and Sally.
We thank God for her and her gift of Nutritional care for so many families . I am under Medical care and on the Medical unit at Brethren Village and regret I am unable to attend her service and celebration.
In Christ’s Love, Rev. William E Foreman and Elaine W. Foreman

Condolence from Barbara Elliot on October 21st, 2015 9:13 am

To Sally Sites’ family and friends I express my deepest sympathy. Sally and my mother, Ina Elliot, were very close friends for a number of years. I believe that they first met through the Stephen Ministry program at First United Methodist Church. My mother often told me about their friendship and how deeply they cared for and about each other.

Though I only had the privilege of meeting Sally a few times, after my mom died on August 9th, 2015, Sally called me every 2 or 3 days for several weeks to share in my grief and to comfort me. I greatly valued and looked forward to our phone conversations. She also sent a book to me that has been a wonderful comfort to me, and which I will treasure as I remember my mom’s wonderful friend.

Prior to my mom’s October 3, 2015 memorial service, Sally wrote a brief remembrance of my mom which was read at the service by Pastor Kerry Leeper since Sally was unable to attend in person. She ended by calling my mom her “forever friend”. I believe that are forever friends now that they are both in heaven with the Lord.

Again, my deepest condolences,
Barbara Elliot, daughter of Ina Elliot
