Condolence from Cindy Rearick on April 30th, 2016 12:39 pm

Dear family. Please know that we are grieving Aunt Rosie’s passing with you. John said, “Well, Aunt Rosie is the last of the original Rearick family to go.” Our hearts are with you, especially now, and we are holding you in prayer for peace and comfort from our precious Savior Jesus Christ. John will take off work and attend the services with Elly but I must send my regrets as I’m flying to visit family and friends on Monday and can’t be with you. Please forgive me but many plans have been made and people are expecting me. One event is a baby shower and I’m a co-hostess. Aunt Rosie was a great aunt, always so loving and happy, lots of smiles and always with a word of encouragement. She will be missed. Our love to you all.

It was with a sad heart that we read about the death of our good friend, Rose Tanguy. It was wonderful to know that she was able to do so much in the twilight of her life with the help of her family. She had many diverse interests including drama and music. She enjoyed her family and her family enjoyed her. We shall miss her and the interesting visits we had with her and her late husband since our retirements. We send our sympathy to all of you.

Rose and Bob are responsible for some of my best memories. The first time I had met Rose she was wearing a bunny suit! And the rest is Promise Players history! I have always considered it such an honor and a blessing that God placed Bob and Rose in my life. Love and prayers to the family!

Condolence from Jon and Janet Christman on May 2nd, 2016 7:28 pm

To Aunt Roses family
Just wanting you to know how sad we were when we received word of Aunt Roses passing. We have attended far to many funerals lately. One was for a filthy year old fellow church member. In the service the pastor stated the following ” There is a hall with many doors, but there is one door at the end of the hall and when it is opened HE will greet you”. Our thoughts are and prayers are with you.
Ron and Janet Christman

Condolence from Bob & Goldie Landis on May 3rd, 2016 1:43 pm

Dear Family,
It is hard to loose a Mother, no matter how old or sick they are. But as time passes, we gradually move toward the day when the comfort of our memories is greater than the sorrow of our loss. We have many good memories of your parents. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Condolence from Kim Norcross on May 3rd, 2016 7:52 pm

Rose will be greatly missed. She and Bob were always such a wonderful couple – always happy, always welcoming, and my fellow Presbyterians in the midst of the Methodist world. They were so supportive of my niece, Moriah through her illness – and so supportive of us when she died. There has been no sweeter person in my acquaintance than Rose. I know it has been a long and sometimes challenging journey that you have all been on – but I know that Rose’s strong faith has been a comfort to her and now to you. Know that you are all in my prayers. May the love of friends and family sustain you in this time of loss.

Condolence from Jan and Wayne Betty on May 11th, 2016 10:19 pm

We are sorry we could not attend Rose’s service. What a special and incredible lady she was, always caring about everyone around her, never about herself. We will miss her, but what a legacy she has left!
