I will always remember you and Aunt Ruth visiting us in the summer. It was such a joy to have you there. I loved listening to your stories and the smell of your pipe tobacco (Captain Black Gold). Rest in peace Uncle Bob.

As a child I remember all the Christmas visits and the toys you and Aunt Ruth would bring us, and the big family picnics at your home. When I use to cut your hair and Aunt Ruth’s hair, she would always say…now watch how she does this Bob so you know how to do it, and you did watch and you eventually did cut her hair.
I can always remember you talking about going into Hitlers home when you were in the service, and how proud you were to serve.
What really sticks in my head was you would always say you were going to live to be 100 years old. You were so determined to reach that goal. Well Uncle Bob you almost made it, 92 isn’t to far from that magical number.
The most memorable visit I had with you and Aunt Ruth was when we talked about the Lord, and I distinctly remember you not wearing your hearing aids that day, but when you and Aunt Ruth said the Sinners Prayer for salvation with me you heard and repeated every word verbatim when we were praying, and you were sitting on the other side of the room. Do I believe in miracles…I DO…Do I believe absent from the body, present with the Lord…I DO…Do I know you and Aunt Ruth are in your Heavenly Home with the Lord…I DO! You are now once again with your Bride…Together for Eternity!
I would like to share Revelation 21:4 with you.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.
