My brother passed away recently and we decided to use DeBord Snyder because we had used them in 2024 when my mother passed and we were very happy with their service. This time they surpassed our expectations. Everyone we interacted with showed so much empathy and understanding making us feel like family. Needless to say the process was made easy. We were given the time we needed before making a definite decision. They were encouraging, patient and caring. DeBord Snyder has been exceptional with the care of my loved ones. We have used this funeral home for multiple family members and will continue to do so! From the first call I made to them, they took off running! We were able to do a personal viewing before cremation which helped tremendously. At a very trying time, DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory really came through for us! We had a sudden and very unexpected passing, and needed to arrange a cremation quickly. We contacted two funeral homes to try and make arrangements, one that was close to our home, and DeBord, 40 minutes away in the Lancaster area. We chose DeBord because of their empathy, professionalism, and price. Their cost was a fraction of the other funeral home’s, and DeBord’s empathy and professionalism could not have been better. They assisted with the paperwork, arranged with the hospital to accept and transport our loved one, explained the cremation process thoroughly, and kept us informed via text every step of the way.
