Words can not express the feelings of grief we have for my brother Doug and sister in law Donna, as well as Giselle his wife and Eric, Patrick’s brother. It is often said that Firefighters, Police Officers and Soldiers are heroes for what they are called on to do. Patrick was a hero in our minds for how he dealt with this disease. He never gave up and fought courageously through his entire ordeal. Our nephew Patrick M. Ressler will forever be a hero to us!

So much i can say about my special brother Pat. Always amazed how he would beat video games in no longer than 3 days and still managed to always play with us outside or inside. As well as always to the left to me at the dinner table as Eric was to the right. i will always remember that seat and times to my heart I love you Patrick. Thanks for accepting me as your own.

Also Sending My Love to Donna & Doug And Eric and the rest of the family and friends during this time.

Patrick, you were the bravest person I know. You fought long and you fought hard. Your Uncle John and I will miss your smile that could light up the room whenever you came in. I can remember the first time I saw you, soon after you were born. Even though we were far away, we watched you grow into a wonderful young man with limitless love for your family and, especially, for your beautiful wife, Giselle.

Doug and Donna, John and I love you and wish we could be there with you. Eric, we love you and hope you remember the good times with your big brother. Love always .

Patrick was one my best friends growing up from hanging out every summer at Hershey heritage pool to heading down to Wildwood. As teenagers you were the first one to get your license and we all hit you up for just random drives. Rest In Peace my friend and I’m grateful that you were apart of my life.

My wife and I are Giselle’s aunt and uncle from Maryland and we were blessed to have Patrick visit our home many times. We even got him to come to Puerto Rico for Giselle’s grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary. We were very happy to attend Patrick and Giselle’s wedding in October and that gift of being part of their lives is something we will cherish forever.
