Yves Mary Deranvil

Yves Mary Deranvil, 71, of Leola, passed away on July 4, 2025. Born in Miragoane, Haiti on April 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Amelia Deranvil.

He received his associates degree and spent much of his career as a politician in Haiti. He was proudly the mayor then became a judge in Miragoane Haiti. He eventually immigrated to America with his family. He spent the rest of his career working at Tyson Foods as a manager

In his spare time, Yves enjoyed being with his family. Watching soccer, basketball and boxing. He enjoyed going for walks and cooking. He enjoyed staying in tune with Haitian politics. He enjoyed listening to classic French songs, reading, studying his bible and other literature.

He is survived by Murillo Deranvil, Tamara Deranvil, Fritzer Deranvil, Ray Tarrah Deranvil, and Jean Gabriel Deranvil, his brother Edner Deranvil and sister Viola Deranvil. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his father.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
