Virginia W. Brill, 94, of Oak Leaf Manor North, Landisville, PA died Wednesday, January 6th at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late James H. Brill who died November of 1986.
Born in W. Lampeter Twp, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Susan Harnish Weaver. A charter member of Highland Presbyterian Church, she was an active member and former choir member. She attended Penn State University and graduated from Temple University. She loved playing tennis and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan B. wife of Tony Schino of Wycombe, PA; two grandsons, Jason, husband of Megan Cartwright of Jenkintown, PA and Jeremy, husband of Tiffany Cartwright of Mechanicsburg, PA; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Cartwright and Jackson Cartwright. She was predeceased by a son John C. Brill.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. If desired, contributions in her memory may be sent to the Water Street Rescue Mission, 210 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603. Arrangements are by Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home; 394-4097.
