Thomas M. “Tommy” Hertzler

Thomas M. “Tommy” Hertzler, 20, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of David C. Hertzler and Elizabeth A. Hain Groff and step-father Glenn Groff.
Tommy was a 2020 graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School. He joined the PA National Guard and was attending Penn State University.
He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, riding in his truck, listening to music, drawing, and most of all, enjoyed being with his dogs Lexa and Stewie.
Tommy is survived in addition to his parents by a loving brother, Austin Hertzler, maternal grandparents; Janet Hain and Donald (Rose) Hain, paternal grandparents; Georgia and Paul D. Hertzler, as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 5 PM at Pequea Brethren in Christ Church, 40 Church Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603. Friends may greet the family from 3 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the K9’s For Warriors, 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081 (K9sforwarriors.org)
