Sylvia B. Geisler, daughter of Howard & Eva Burns, Philadelphia, PA passed away July 2, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Frederick Burns, daughter Susan Smith and her husband of 57 years, Edwin A. Geisler.
Sylvia attended Philadelphia School of the Bible before her marriage and Sylvia and Edwin lived in the Valley Forge area before moving to Lancaster, PA.
Sylvia worked at and retired from Bell Telephone (now Verizon).
She enjoyed sewing, knitting and many social activities at Woodcrest Villa where she and Ed lived.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Lancaster, PA.
A memorial service will be held at Bluebird Commons in Woodcrest Villa, 2001 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 at 10:00 am on Friday, July 10, 2026. To leave an online condolence, please visit: www.DeBordSnyder.com
