Shirley Ann Hampton

Shirley Ann Hampton, 85, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late George E. Hampton who preceded her death.

Born in Lancaster on November 27, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edgar M. Erb and Lois (Neff) Erb.

Shirley worked as a geriatric nurse in her early years. But her primary goal and ministry was dedicated to being a caretaker of her girls at home and serving the Lord through spreading the gospel. Through her work, for several churches and ministries she touched the lives of many in the local church and in the nations she visited. She will be remembered for her being submitted to God and His Gifts that she freely shared with those the Lord brought into her path.

In her spare time, she enjoyed doing seminars and teaching. She shared her testimony at every turn. Her life was a godly light to the world around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah S. Worley, spouse Craig Worley, Wendy S. McFarland, spouse Jeff McFarland, Lisa Hampton Moss, Spouse Tim Moss. Sister Barbara Cott, (Rev. Alvin Cott) Brother, Barry Erb (Spouse: Kathi Erb) in addition, 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Living Hope Community Church, 2823 Columbia Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
