Shalamar Naomi-Marie Greer

Shalamar Naomi-Marie Greer (affectionately known as “Shelly”) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 11, 2025, at her residence.

She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and was lovingly raised by her mother, Cathy Greer, and father, Walter Pugh. She grew up alongside her siblings Wenona Pugh, Tyrone Murray, Robert Main, Daniel Main, Bettina Pugh, Janine Pugh, and Maxine Pugh.

Shelly had a gift for captivating others with her stories and her humor, effortlessly making people laugh and feel at ease. Her strong personality was magnetic, adding to her charm and making her truly unforgettable. Above all, she was deeply loved by family and friends, who will forever cherish the laughter, memories, and moments they shared with her.

Shelly is survived by her children, along with extended family and close friends.

Funeral arrangements will be private, as the family has chosen to honor Shelly’s life with services closed to the public.

Shelly will be remembered for her humor, her individuality, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who knew and loved her.
