Sarah A. Auker

Sarah A. Auker, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy. She was the widow of John H. Auker who died in April of 1990. She was the daughter of the late William and Emma Ruth Campbell, and the adopted daughter of the late Walter and Katie Kreider.

A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Rohrerstown.

Surviving are: a son, Eugene Auker; a daughter, June wife of Douglas Sorensen; 3 granddaughters; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Frey and Verle Grossman.

Funeral services will be held from the Salem United Church of Christ, Rohrerstown, 2312 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603 on Wednesday, February 24th, at 11 AM with interment following in Habecker Mennonite Cemetery.
