Richard W. Fulmer, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on November 18, 2025 at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Harrison and Irene (Burkhart) Fulmer.

After graduating from high school, Richard spent much of his professional career as a pipefitter for the Local 520. Richard worked at many of the large power plants on the east coast such as Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Limerick Generating Station and Three Mile Island

In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, playing tennis, recreational volleyball, reading books and the New York Times Newspaper. Richard was a staunch fan of Penn State and Manheim Township athletic associations.

Richard is survived by a daughter, Doreen M. Fulmer (wife of Paul). Also surviving are sisters Judy Fulmer Madewell, Mary Ellen Fulmer Hoefler, Elsie Weaver, and brothers Walter Fulmer, and Harold Fulmer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Jim Fulmer.
