Reverend Jere R. Martin

Reverend Jere R. Martin, 80, died at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, PA, on September 15, 2015.  Born June 17, 1935 in Lancaster, PA.  Jere retired from the United Methodist Church, formerly Evangelical United Brethren Church, after 49 1/2 years in the ministry.  Jere is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly J. Styer Martin, son Kevin Martin, daughter Kim Martin Lewis, wife of Michael A. Lewis, grandchildren: Joshua, Hope, Tori, Luke, Grace and Daron, great grandchildren:  Mario and Leo, and brother, Richard Martin.  Jere was a graduate of McCaskey High School, Lebanon Valley College and United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH.  At Jere’s request, there will be no service.  Memorial contributions can be made to:  Eastern Pennsylvania Conference United Methodist Church, PRE 82 Pension (include PRE 82 Pension in memory of Jere Martin on the memo line), P.O.
