R. Todd Swift, 56, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, music, and a love that will never fade.
Todd loved God and his family above all, often calling his nieces and nephew “his heart.” He lived life his own way, with a great sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a sensitive side that cared deeply for those he loved and anyone going through difficult times.
A true Philadelphia Eagles fan, Todd loved football, NASCAR and the Earnhardts, and classic cars, especially his beloved Chevy Nova, which he had since he was 15. He had a deep respect for Native American culture and nature, enjoyed gardening, and loved music of every kind, especially ’80s hair bands and classic country. Todd found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether spending time with family, singing and playing guitar, watching football or sharing a good joke. Add hot wings, Turkey Hill iced tea, a crossword puzzle with Mom and Dad, and maybe a winning lottery ticket, and life was pretty good.
A graduate of Blue Mountain Academy, Todd spent more than 30 years working at R.R. Donnelley. Retirement brought him great happiness and the freedom to enjoy life on his own terms.
Todd was truly one of a kind. He loved deeply, laughed often, and did life his way. His absence leaves an ache that words cannot express, but the love, laughter, songs, and memories he gave us will remain forever in our hearts.
Until we meet again.
