Patricia B. Keene

Patricia B. Keene, 80, died at the Willow Valley Retirement Community on Friday, April 22.  She was the daughter of the late Edgar Harrison and Edith Gorsuch Bicknell.

Dr. Keene was a teacher in the Penn Manor School District, and an adjunct professor for a time at both Franklin and Marshall College and Penn State University.  She was a graduate of Millersville University, Temple University and Pennsylvania State University.  A member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster, she volunteered in numerous local organizations and was a world traveler.

She was predeceased by her former husband, Richard K. Keene, Sr., and her son, Richard K. Keene, Jr.  She is survived by her sons, Michael C. Keene and Douglas C. Keene; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private and at the discretion of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive,  P.O Box 4125, Lancaster PA  17604-4125.
