Naomi Shenk Good

Naomi Shenk Good, age 83, of Lancaster County, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the loving wife of the late Donald L. Good, who preceded her in death on October 5, 2025, and the wife to her first husband, the late Daniel M. Shenk, Jr whom she was married to for 46 years prior to his death in 2008.

Born August 26, 1943, in Pequea Township, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clarence L. Dagen and Anna P. (Sangrey) Dagen.

Don and Naomi shared nine years of marriage and enjoyed their life together surrounded by family, faith and friends.

Naomi was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School. Throughout her working years, she was employed as a sales clerk in the meat department at John Herr’s.

A woman of faith, Naomi was connected with Grace Community Church in Willow Street, where she and Don found fellowship and a church home.

Naomi will be remembered for her devotion to her family and for the many relationships she cherished throughout her life.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene F. Fry (wife of John) of Mountville, Delaine K. Peris (wife of Chris) of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Theda Dagen.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis E. Shenk as well as her brothers: John, Clarence Jr, Robert, David, and a sister, Ethel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Naomi’s memorial service at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Pequea Brethren in Christ Cemetery.
