Nancy Reinhart Quinn

Nancy Reinhart Quinn went home to be with her Lord and savior on Sunday, January 3

rd

, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Tom (Marvin) Chandler of East Petersburg, Pa. Born in Lancaster, PA on October 27

th

1952, She was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Jane A. Reinhart.

Nancy was a graduate of J. P. McCaskey high school, class of 1970. Through the years, Nancy held various jobs including cake decorating and jewelry and clothing store management.

She was a woman of strong faith having most recently attended LCBC, Liberty campus. She was previously a longtime member of the grace E. C. Church in East Petersburg PA.

Besides her husband, she is survived by sister Sandra J. Frantz (Richard) of Millersville PA, Sisters in law Margaret Brown of Mifflinburg PA and Mary Chandler of reading PA.

She will live eternally in the hearts of her children Frank C. Quinn IV, Jesse G. Quinn, Ashley Mays (Jesse) and step-daughter Abby Belovarac (David) and grandchildren Jayna Mays, Layla Mays, Silas Mays and Andrew Breniser, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy had a passion for life and living it to its fullest! She made memories everywhere she went. She loved trips to the beach, long motorcycle rides and with Tom, took part in the make A wish truck convoy.

Nancy had a heart of gold and would do anything to make others lives brighter! She loved to plan events and parties, especially birthdays and Holidays for those she held dear. She always knew how to make each person feel special.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she formed deep everlasting bonds with each of them. Her eldest granddaughter, Jayna, has fond memories of quiet beach sunrises, just the two of them. Layla looks back with amazing memories of their fun yearly trips to can Knoebles amusement park. She and Andrew spent many hours lovingly playing with his collection of rubber ducks. Grandma knew that snuggles and trucks were the way to Silas’ heart!

We will never be able to fill the void that her passing has left but we are eternally grateful to have had such an amazing woman for a mother, grandma, wife, sister and friend.

A private service will be held for our family. Due to Covid concerns, we will be planning a public gathering at a later date when we can come together and joyfully celebrate her life.
