Nancy J. Lawrence

Nancy J. Lawrence, 93, of Lancaster, passed away on December 16, 2025, at Homestead Village Retirement Community. She was the loving wife of Byron H. Lawrence to whom she was married to for 54 years.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Dorthia (Dirk) Miller.

After graduating from high school, she spent most of her professional career dedicated to her family as a homemaker and a traveling Air Force wife

In addition to her husband, Byron, Nancy is survived (Brothers: Jack Miller and Brian Miller, Son: Ron Rupnow, Daughter: Kathleen Slough, Stepson: Scott Lawrence, Four Grand Kids: Michael Rupnow, Erica Slough, Jonah Lawrence, Isabelle Ruohoniemi. Two Great-Great Grand kids: Ellie and Vivian. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Kenneth Reid Rupnow; a sister, Jackie Hollister, and Brothers, Scott Miller, Terri Miller, Victor Miller, Herb Miller, Barry Miller, Ronnie Miller.

Nancy enjoyed working in her garden, playing cards with Bill and Ev and traveling annually to Wisconsin Dells to see extended family.
