Morris W. Minnig
Morris W. Minnig, 89, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Mennonite Home. Born in Tremont, he was the son of the late William F. and Iva Fehr Minnig. He was married to the late Fay Adams Minnig who died in January of 2010.
Morris served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He worked as an electrician for the former RCA, Lancaster, retiring in 1983 after 35 years of service. He was a member of Millersville #496 F. &A.M.; Tall Cedars of Lancaster; Lancaster Lodge of Perfection, Harrisburg Consistory; and the Ephrata Elks.
Surviving are: a daughter, Karen Minnig of Lancaster, a son, Gary M. husband of Nadine Minnig of Northbrook, IL; 3 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A private interment service will be held in Riverview Burial Park at the convenience of the family.
