On Wednesday, December 14, 2022 Michael “Mike” Weintz suddenly passed away at the age of 69.
Mike was born on April 25, 1953 in Lodi, California to Lee and Margie (Fleck) Weintz. Mike worked for Kraft Foods for 35 years. On February 28, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart Annette (Annie) Schemper in Ripon, California where they raised their two daughters Catherine and Rebecca. In 2020, Mike and Annette moved to Eastern Pennsylvania to be closer to their daughter and her family.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Lee Weintz, paternal grandparents Edwin & Martha Weintz, and maternal grandparents Robert & Eunice Fleck. He is survived by his wife, Annette, daughter Catherine and her husband Darren Severtsen, daughter Rebecca Weintz, grandsons James Severtsen and Talbott Weintz-Johnson, mother Margie Arthur, sister Pat (Bruce) Martin, step-mother Joann Weintz, step-sister Charlene (David) Manes and several beloved brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 11am – 3pm at Spring Creek Golf & Country Club, 1580 Spring Creek Dr, Ripon, CA 95366. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Ripon Community Fund (fundriponca.org).
