Matthew Ryan Hajko

Matthew Ryan Hajko, 40, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. He was the loving husband to Megan N. (DeVerter) Hajko.

Born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Christine (Hajko) and Jeff Bowmaster, and Todd and Kelly Morgan.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the occasional video game, and watching his Eagles on Sundays.

Matthew will be remembered with love by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memories and smile will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, and parents, he is survived by his sons, Joseph and Brayden, his brother Gregory and Wife Annie Morgan, niece Olivia Morgan, nephews Wyatt and Ethan. Sisters, Taylor, Lauren and Katherine. Maternal grandparents, Joann and Michael Sierocinski, Maternal grandfather Stephen J. Hajko, Aunt and Uncle Drew and Patricia Martin, Cousin Rachel Martin Preceded in death by Paternal Grandmother Gail Morgan.

A memorial service celebrating Matthew’s life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
