Most every Saturday morning my granddaughters and I would visit Central Market. Their first stop was never doughnuts and candy, it was to go see Miss Marian who always offered a smile and a slice of cheese. If our life is measured by the people we touch, and the memories we’ve helped to create, then Marian will live on for generations to come. Thank you for sharing her with so many.

For many years Marian and I would share morning greetings at S.Clyde. We shared the same January 15 birthday with smiles and stories. I would take Marian a bag of first of the season washington boro tomatoes..a standing exchanged smile.
I treasure the memory of her smile.;Of the image of her driving a pickup truck; of her working market hours in her 80s; of her spirit.
A gift
Thank you
Marian

I was going through my Mom’s (Ned Robbins) address book to invite people to her stone setting and I saw Marian’s name and looked her up. I’m sorry to hear of her recent passing. I still remember riding bus #34 (at least I think that was the number), and I said hi to her for years afterwards when I saw her at Clyde Weavers at Central Market. She always said hi and gave me a huge smile. I loved seeing her and will miss her warmth and kindness.
