Lois (Todd) Morgan, 94, of Willow Valley Communities, Lancaster, died on October 4, 2026, after a brief illness.

Foremost was her devotion to her family. She loved having family dinners and celebrating birthdays and anniversaries for everyone. She was the loving wife of Milton K. Morgan, Jr., her husband of fifty-eight years, who passed away in December 2011, and the mother of their four children. She and Milt seldom, if ever, missed a game or activity in which their children participated. They were a true team in every sense of the word.

Born February 18, 1932, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Elmer Todd and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Todd.

Lois was a 1950 graduate of Manheim Township High School, where she met Milt at age twelve, and a 1954 graduate of Millersville University. After she graduated from Millersville and her husband graduated from Penn State University, the couple moved to Defiance, Ohio, where Milt worked for General Motors. They returned to Lancaster in 1958, and Lois devoted herself to raising their four children. She later worked as a substitute teacher and in the district office of Manheim Township schools for sixteen years.

Lois was very active in the community, supporting many organizations and causes. She supported the Morgan Academic Support Center for Student Athletes at Penn State University, as well as the Morgan Academic Center for Student Athletes and the Morgan Sports Complex at Millersville University. She and her husband helped establish the Manheim Township Public Library.

Lois was also involved with the Fulton Theatre, Central Market, Boys & Girls Club, Hospice & Community Care, Lancaster Bible College, Servant Stage, United Disabilities Services, where she served on the board, Water Street Mission, and many other organizations. She spent many years volunteering for Lancaster General Hospital, the American Cancer Society, Girl Scouts, and the Women’s Symphony Association, and was a past matron of James Buchanan Chapter 315 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church for more than sixty years, serving as a choir member, deacon, and circle leader.

Golf, bridge, billiards, reading, and knitting were among her favorite pastimes. She knitted Christmas stockings for all of her grandchildren and enjoyed gatherings with her fun-filled family. She also wrote an eight-hundred-page autobiography, Now I Remember, after seven years of research, for her family.

Lois moved to Willow Valley in 2014, where she later served on the steering committee for the Willow Valley Communities Memory Center campaign in 2020.

Left to cherish her memory are her twin sons, Milton K. Morgan III, of Lancaster, and Walter T. Morgan, of Oak Ridge, NC, a daughter, Sandra M. Correll, wife of Dr. James Correll, of Prince George, VA, and a son Charles R. Morgan, husband of Janet, of Pompano Beach, FL; ten grandchildren: Matthew Morgan (wife, Jessica), Michael Morgan (wife, Jen), Jason Morgan (wife, Bethany), Heather Cooke (husband, Matt), Morgan Beale (wife, Allison), Patrick Beale (wife, Heather), David Beale (wife, Lauri), Taylor Haring (husband, Brian), Kevin Morgan (wife, Estee), and Eric Morgan; two step – grandchildren: Kristen Constantineau (husband, Rob) and Allison Correll (husband, Andrew Blascovich); twenty-one great-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved.

Donations in Lois’s memory may be sent to the Manheim Township Public Library Foundation Board, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601, or Willow Valley Communities Charitable Foundation, 100 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584.
