Lois J. Kaufman, age 90 of Moravian Manor, Lititz passed away January 7, 2024 at LGH. Born in Lancaster daughter of the late William Watson and Gertrude Gibble McMinn she was a lifetime area resident.
Lois was a medical secretary for Dr. Gerald L. Weaver, an active member of the Lititz Church of the Brethren, member of the friendship Sunday school class and the Elizabeth Hughes Society. Lois was a 1951 Graduate of McCaskey High School and received an Associates Degree in Medical Secretarial Programs from Elizabethtown College in 1955
She enjoyed numerous cruises with her husband Carl to warm destinations, spending time with friends and family and watching classic movies.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl in 2017, and her sister Leona M. Anderson of Millersville.
Survivors include her children; Deb Carpenter of East Petersburg, Doug Kaufman husband of Laura Halleran of Denver NC, and Dean Kaufman of Harrisburg, three grandchildren Kaitlyn Kaufman of Washington DC, and Carl and Amy Carpenter of East Petersburg.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Chapel at Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St. Lititz PA 17543 at 10:30 am. followed by the funeral service at 11 am.
Private interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
