Linda May Cochran Nicodemus, 74, of New Providence, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. Born in Cecil County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and E. Marguerite (Kauffman) Cochran.
Raised in Peach Bottom, PA, Linda was a proud farmer’s daughter and a graduate of Solanco High School- class of 1969. Linda was a Homemaker/Mother, raising two kids while also working as a Housekeeper and Teachers Aide. Later, She worked most of her career as an administrative assistant until becoming a medical billing and coding associate for Lancaster General Hospital.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, spending time with her Grandsons and in her youth was an avid bowler and rollerskater. Linda had a deep love for faith, family, and laughter. She will be greatly missed!
Linda is survived by her son, Adam Nicodemus (Jamie), Grandsons Oscar Nicodemus, Dakota Axmacher(Ligeia) and Connor Axmacher, Brothers David Cochran(Mary Jane) and Dale Cochran(Carol). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Daughter, Rae Denison (Brent), Brothers Robert Cochran(Pearl), Tom Cochran(Eilene) and Sisters Janette Brown(Sam) and Erma Cochran
