
Kenneth T. Bowman, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Brethren Village. He was the loving husband of Mary Catherine (Garber) Bowman.
Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Paul K. and Mary H. (Thomas) Bowman.
He spent much of his career as a farmer and a plumber.
He was an active member of New Danville Mennonite Church.
In addition to his wife, Mary Catherine, he is survived by children, Kaye Witmer (wife of Kirk) of Ephrata, PA and Kevin Bowman (husband of Anna Ruth) of Lancaster, PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Grace and Nathan Witmer as well as two sisters, Ruth Ann Martin and Mary Brown. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Thomas Bowman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at New Danville Mennonite Church, 103 Marticville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM. An open casket viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
