Kathryn M. Peifer, 89, of Lancaster, died Saturday, May 08, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mount Joy.
She was the wife of the late Charles R. Peifer who died in 1995.
Mrs. Peifer was a homemaker and attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Mount Joy.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn A. husband of Becky Peifer of Lancaster, and Kenneth R. husband of Kate Peifer of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Jennifer Schwebel, Christine Fritsch, Kenneth Peifer, Kelly DiGiullio, Angie Zeager and Douglas Zeager; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, PA. If desired, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
