John W. Green, age 71 of Denver died October 24, 2023 at York Wellspan Hospital.
He was the husband of Judith L. (Adamire) Green. They observed their 48th. wedding anniversary on September 6 th.
John was the son of the late Benjamin L. Green Sr. and Louise (Sauder) Green.
After graduating in 1971 from Penn Manor High School John began learning plumbing from Mahoney Plumbing and Heating later working for Eli Humbert P&H in Columbia. He then took a position with Raub Supply Co. managing their Ephrata Branch. John went from that position to becoming an outside PHC salesman for Raub. During his time there he earned the award of President’s Honor Club for PHC salesman. In 1989 he took a position as PHC salesman at Thos. Somerville. In 1992 he began working at Weinstein Supply Co. as PHC salesman. He stayed there until retiring in 2018. John worked in the PHC sales for over 40 years.
His hobbies were sports, collectibles and antiques.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his shelties Timber and Ranger, his brother Benjamin L. Green Jr. husband of Vonnie of Washington Boro, his sister Tanya (Green) Sigman wife of Frank of Farmington WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 10 am until the service at 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church 140 E. Orange St. Lancaster PA 17602. Entombment will follow the service at Conestoga Memorial Park.
