Jean M. Scharpf

Jean M. Scharpf, 94, of Lancaster, passed away on May 2, 2026.   She was the loving wife of the late James P. Scharpf who preceded her in death in 1990. 

Born in Seoul, South Korea, she later immigrated to the United States where she dedicated much of her adult life as a homemaker.

Jean is survived by her children, Kathleen Murray (wife of Chris) and James Scharpf (husband of Anne); grandchildren, Andrea Scharpf, James Scharpf, Robert Scharpf, James Murray, Connor Murray and Gabirel Murray; and great-grandchildren, Casey, Storm and Corbin. Also surviving is a ister, Michelle Woodgate. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Colin Scharpf.

A graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family in Silver Spring Cemetery.
