Janet L. Griegel

Janet L. Griegel, 81, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Willow Valley retirement community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  She was the loving wife of Wayne B. Griegel.  She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edwin Lutz and Mildred Lutz.

Janet attended Harvest Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  She obtained her degree from Dickinson University.  She worked as a teacher of German, French and English. She served as a church secretary for over twenty five years in Trenton, New Jersey.  Her life is defined by her loving and tireless service to her family and church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Wayne Griegel.  She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law David and Melissa Griegel and Steven and Rosemary Griegel, as well as her five beloved grandchildren, Avi, Rachel, Erin, Timothy and Emily.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at Harvest Presbyterian Church on Friday, March 11.  Beginning at 10:00 am the church will be open to guests to greet the family.  Memorial service to begin at 11:00 am.
