Jacqueline B. Cosgrove Grossman, 80, of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4 2009. Born in Lancaster, Jackie was the daughter of the late James and Grace Ruhl Cosgrove.
She was a retired crossing guard for the School District of Lancaster. Previous employment included Slaymaker Lock and Hubley Toys.
Jackie was a member of the 700 Club and Bethany Presbyterian Church. She was a true prayer warrior on earth and now is in Heaven. She was a member of the same pinochle group for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Paul Grossman. She is survived by her three sons, James W. of Lancaster, John S., husband of Jane of Lancaster and Joseph L., husband of Heather, LaHabra, CA; four grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Hannah and Jonathan, all of CA.
A funeral service will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N. West End Ave., on Saturday, April 11, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Bethany Building Fund, c/o Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N. West End Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
