Isabel Jefferies Smith, 91, a resident of Calvary Homes, died at the home on Friday, January 15, 2010.
Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and M. Kathryn Kissinger Shreiner. She was the wife of the late Robert Smith who died in 2006 and her first husband the late Jonas K. R. Jefferies died in 1980.
Mrs. Smith was employed as a legal secretary for many years. Isabel graduated from the John Harris High School in Harrisburg. She was a member of the Red Hatters and earlier in life had enjoyed traveling extensively.
Surviving are two sons, Harry R. husband of Janie Jefferies of Willow Street, and David C. husband of Sari Jefferies of San Francisco; three grandchildren, Lily Jefferies, Jennifer Hetherington and Jessica Griffith; and a great grandchild, Margaret Hetherington.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Harrisburg Cemetery.
