Irene Aldrich Strausbaugh, age 93 of Lancaster passed away January 1, 2024 at Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster City.
She was born in Malone, Franklin County NY, daughter of the late Ross and Belle Fish Aldrich. Irene was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Davis and Donald F. Strausbaugh, her daughter Joyce Dietrich Davis, son Paul Robert Davis and her brother Carl Aldrich.
Irene attended two years at Canton Agricultural and Technical College in Canton NY and was a Nutritionist. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had been active with the Bird in Hand Methodist Church Women’s Fellowship.
She is survived by her daughter in law; Dixie A. Davis, grandchildren Patrick (Amanda) Davis, Christopher Davis, and three great grandchildren Evelyn, Meghan and Hazel.
Private graveside services were held at Greenmount Cemetery in York PA>
