Henry Will, Sr.
Henry Will Sr., 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital.
Henry was born on May 6th, 1937 in Bamberg, Germany to the late Margaret and Konrad Will. After graduating High School in 1953, he studied mechanical and electrical engineering. He immigrated to New York City in 1957, where he married Maria Miranda, raised three sons and worked as a plant engineer in the plastics industry.
A resident of Lancaster since 1989, Henry was a congregant of the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Signal Corps and stationed in Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam War. Henry was skilled in several trades and could often be found working on projects around his house or the homes of friends and family.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife Maria. He is survived by his three sons, Henry Jr., Danny and Bryant “Troy” Will; a daughter-in-law, Lori Deck-Will; four grandchildren; a brother, Hans Will; a sister, Marianne Frank and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA, 17603 on Saturday, January 29th, 2020 at 1 PM. Prior to the service, friends are respectfully invited to join the family beginning at 12 PM for the viewing. Services will be available via livestream at:
