Helen M. Martin, 94, formerly of Marietta Ave., Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia. Born in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Dorothea Huzzard Miller. She was married to Harold E. Martin and celebrated 62 years of marriage last November.
A homemaker, she also worked as a clerk for the former Consumer Ice and Coal Co., Lancaster. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her dog, and spending winters in Florida.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 nephews and 2 daughters.
A graveside service will be held from Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Rd., Lancaster, PA on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Anne’s Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Avenue, Columbia, PA 17512.
