Harry T. Darby, Jr.

Harry T. Darby, Jr. 89, of Wrightsville, PA passed away peacefully at his residence on August 12, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Joyce (Roach) Darby to whom he was married for 65 years.

Born August 5, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Harry was the son of the late Harry T. Darby and Charlotte M. Darby

Harry earned his bachelor’s degree and enjoyed a career as a civil engineer. He also proudly served his country as a veteran.

In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time on the water, boating and street car racing in his earlier years.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, Harry is survived by a son, Michael Darby; a daughter, Jeri Kay Harris and a grandson, Aaron Harris. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Darby.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside servicewith military honors on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00AM at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603.

Harry will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his professional accomplishments, and his service to his country.
