Gloria “Anne” May, 47, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Conestoga View. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Allen H. Lare, Jr. and Mary E. Henrich Lare.
A member of the Conestoga View Resident Council, she was also a member of the Art Club where she enjoyed painting. She was also a member of the Lancaster VFW and AmVets.
Surviving are: 2 sisters, Kathy wife of Mark Stevens, Linda Zimmerman, both of Lancaster; a brother, Michael A. husband of Tracy Lare of Ephrata; 3 nieces; 2 nephews.
A memorial service will be held from the Chapel at Conestoga View, 900 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Saturday, February 7th at 10:30 AM. Private interment in Rohrerstown Mennonite Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Conestoga View Resident Fund.
