Gina Marie Groah

Gina Marie Groah, age 38 transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on February 22, 2021.  She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on February 19, 1983.

Gina will always be remembered as an incredibly compassionate person.  She was a friend to all who crossed her path.  Her kind heart made her an extraordinary caregiver.  She had an infectious laugh, the best sense of humor, and a vivacious personality.  She found beauty in the outdoors, loved being in the water, traveling to new places, and planting flowerbeds and gardens.  She was fascinated with history, entertained us often with her musical talents, “Gina-isms”, and loved her Mom’s Italian cooking. Above all, Gina’s most precious gift in life was her daughter, Sophia.  She was an adoring and proud mom and forever cherished their time together. Our dear Gina was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by a daughter Sophia May; father Clyde Groah; mother Carma Jeanne DeNezza Solberg; and siblings, Christine; Cheryl; Christopher (Jen); and Cameron (Tim).  She was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Emily Groah, Dominick and Lydia DeNezza.
