Gella Sykes

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Gella Sykes, 67, of Leola, lost her battle with cancer on December 21, 2024. Gella was well known for her warmth, independence, and loving spirit. She often could be found in the kitchen trying a new recipe while listening to one of her audiobooks. Most of her cooking included produce from her abundant home garden, which she immensely enjoyed sharing with friends and family. When she wasn’t cooking up a storm, she adored spending time outdoors, going on adventures with her grandson, and relaxing with a good cup of tea. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Andy; Daughters, Jennifer, and Heather; Son-In-Law, Ethan; Grandson, Aiden; Her Sister, Marie; Brother-In-Law, Andrew; and numerous other relatives and friends.
