Faye E. Walker, 69, of Willow Street, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Richard F. Walker, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2005.
Born on February 9, 1957, in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Findley.
Faye was a graduate of Columbia High School. She was the co-owner of Walker Brothers alongside her beloved husband, Richard, and following his passing, she became the sole owner of the business.
Faye found great joy in riding her two beloved horses, Mystique and Mo, often alongside her good friend Carol. She enjoyed reading her Bible and was an avid and talented piano player. Above all, Faye adored her grandchildren and was incredibly proud of them.
Faye was a long-time member of Calvary Church in Lancaster. She will be remembered as one of the kindest and most gentle women, always having a warm word for everyone she met. Her loving spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering kindness touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She is survived by her daughter, Christi A. Alcala and her husband, David; her son, Richard J. “R.J.” Walker; her daughter-in-law, Nicole Zimmerman; her three brothers, Jim, Larry, and Tom; and her two beloved grandchildren, Brooklynn and Colton.
In addition to her husband and parents, Faye was preceded in death by one brother, Mike.
