
Esther E. “Aunt Mike” Bracken, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care. She was the loving wife of the late Perry G. Bracken, Sr. who passed away in 1996. Born in Nanty Glo, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Elizabeth M. (Gore) Little.
Esther spent much of her career with Bulova as a General Inspector.
A member of Auxiliary BPO Elks #134, AARP-Guys and Dolls, and the Red Hats.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was an active volunteer.
She is survived by her sons; Perry G. (husband of Sharon) Bracken Jr. of Lititz, PA; Terry J. (husband of Linda) Bracken of Charlotte, NC and Gregory A. (husband of Shelli) Bracken of Lancaster, PA; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service at Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 407 Lafayette St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
